(SARASOTA, FLA) — Asolo Repertory Theatre proudly welcomes Margot L. Curry as its new Finance and Human Resources Director.

Curry serves as a key member of Asolo Rep’s senior management team, closely collaborating with leadership in strategic decision making and operations. As Finance and Human Resources Director, she leads and develops an internal team to support the areas of finance, business planning and budget, and human resources.

In this role, Curry will work to enhance Asolo Rep’s financial strength and stability through a diversified revenue model, as the organization continues to manage the impact of the pandemic.

“We are delighted to have Margot join us,” said Asolo Rep Managing Director Linda DiGabriele. “She has an extensive background with not-for-profits, including the arts, so she is very knowledgeable about the various facets of our operation. She will make a significant contribution to Asolo Rep.”

Curry earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Columbia Union College in Maryland and her MBA, with a major in accounting, from Le Tourneau University in Texas. She comes to Asolo Rep from Big Brothers and Sisters of America in Tampa, where she held the role of director of finance.

In the performing arts space, Curry previously served as controller with the Houston Ballet for six years. She has also held finance roles with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Inc., Amigos de las Americas & St. Luke Episcopal Church, and the University of Houston.
