Asolo Rep is one of the country's most prominent regional theatres and a cultural anchor of the Sarasota community. Working in a unique style of rotating repertory, Asolo Rep produces eight shows over the course of each season, ranging from world premiere musicals to contemporary new works, to fresh takes on the classics

"The beautiful harmony of Music and Theatre ignites in the Orchestra Pit. To honor my mother's legacy and my personal connection with music-making, I have funded an endowment to annually support the Ruby E. and Carole Crosby Foundation musical artist. Each year a guest musician or music director will represent our commitment to Asolo Rep, and their artistry will be a tribute we can share with every audience."

Conservatory Partnership

Asolo Rep partners with the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training to prepare the next generation of actors for the American stage. The Theatre is the campus for FSU's world-renowned three-year MFA actor training program, which culminates in a season with the Rep company on the Mertz Stage. Your endowment gift to Asolo Rep can support the theatre's investment in this extraordinary partnership, by funding fellowship stipends and expenses for the London summer program.

You may also make an endowment gift directly to the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, either as an outright contribution or as a planned gift, in order to provide perpetual support for the Conservatory's annual needs and to guarantee the program's sustainability. Areas of need include workshops, productions, capital improvements, and tuition support.

"As a family, we have enjoyed sponsoring FSU/Asolo Conservatory students for over ten years; helping a young artist at the start of their career is a privilege we treasure! We wanted to make sure that we could support this program in perpetuity, so we established the Baer Family Student Fellowship, an endowment fund at Asolo Rep. Distributions from the fund are already being used today to support our current student Jenny."
