2023 Summer Camp Schedule
Asolo Rep Summer Camps use theatrical skills from all elements of the artform to encourage campers to use their imaginations, to express their ideas, and to explore their world through theatre. Whether performing a story of their own design or developing a quest for characters they developed themselves, campers will get the experience of theatre from many different angles: performance, design, storybuilding, and (most importantly) imaginative play!

June 26-30: Creator Camp
In collaboration with Sarasota Contemporary Dance.
Where will your curiosity lead you? Asolo Rep collaborates with Sarasota Contemporary Dance for Creator Camp: a space for young artists to imagine, explore, and discover through stories. In this 5-day camp, Young Artists work with professional teaching artists to use dance, drama, and art to construct stories and performances of their own creation. No performance experience is needed--just bring your creativity and excitement as you learn how to bring ideas to life!
July 3-7: Drama Days!
Camps for ages 6-7, 8-11
Drama Days, designed for ages 6-11, invites campers to experience a different theatre adventure every day. Students do not have to have a background in theatre or enjoy performing to have a great time – they just need to bring their imagination and be ready to play, collaborate, and create!
Note: Even if campers can't be with us the whole week, families can choose which days work with their schedule while registering. Select 1-5 days you can attend and choose your own adventure!
July 10-14: Quest!
Camps for ages 6-7, 8-10, 11-14
Check your stats, look for traps, and roll the dice. Do you love role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons? Test your strategy, create new characters, and set off on an epic journey with fellow explorers.
July 17-21: Miniature Worlds
Camps for ages 6-7, 8-10, 11-14
Imagine thrilling planets, fascinating histories, and spectacular civilizations. With a cardboard box and a spark of inspiration, what kind of world will you create?
July 24-28: Twisted Tales
Camps for ages 6-7, 8-10, 11-14
What happens when familiar stories explode into something brand new? With a little theatre magic, team up with fellow creators to discover bold takes on beloved tales.
July 31-August 4: Trash Into Treasure
Camps for ages 6-7, 8-10, 11-14
The most incredible treasures are often hidden in plain sight. In this camp, young artists will explore the world of theatrical design, turning overlooked objects into extraordinary inventions.
August 7-9: Drama Days

- Early Bird Pricing available until April 1: $160/week
- Pricing after April 1st: $200/week
- Theatre for All Financial Assistance applications are available now. Financial Assistance is limited and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Camp Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

Cancellations
Asolo Rep reserves the right to alter or cancel programs as necessary. If a program is cancelled by Asolo Rep, participants will receive a tuition refund in full.
Withdrawals

- All withdrawal requests must be sent in writing to education@asolorep.org
- If a participant withdraws from a class before the second day of class, the registration cost is refunded, less a $25 administrative fee.
- Due to the resource scheduling and commitments required to provide the programs, no refunds are given after the second day of class.
