Gulf Coast Gives

Please support Asolo Rep through Gulf Coast Gives: An initiative of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation that fosters community giving.

OUR CURRENT PROJECT – NOW THROUGH JANUARY 10, 2012

Asolo Repertory Theatre’s Kaleidoscope program gives students and adults with disabilities the chance to explore creative expression, and to develop and perform their own original work on Asolo Rep’s stage. Participants meet with professional teaching artists twice a week at their facility as they explore and create through weekly sessions with Kaleidoscope founder, Annie Morrison, and our talented staff of professional teaching artists.  Kaleidoscope is currently offered at Community Haven, Easter Seals of Southwest Florida, Oak Park School and Bayshore High School, and is free to all participants. 

Asolo Rep has posted a project on Gulf Coast Gives to benefit their cast of Kaleidoscope performers. We need to raise $500 by January 10th to put the finishing touches on this year’s show, “Adventure Quest,” which is scheduled for January 26, 2012.  Your donation will allow us to purchase costume pieces and props for the performance.  Please support this wonderful partnership between Asolo Rep and area agencies serving people with disabilities. Also this holiday season: SHOP FOR KALEIDOSCOPE at Westfield Southgate Mall!

This holiday season Westfield Southgate and Gulf Coast Community Foundation invite you to “Give with Purpose.” From December 1 through the 31, shoppers who spend $200 in same-day purchases at Westfield Southgate will receive a $25 Give Card to use on the GulfCoastGives.org web site for the project of their choice. Shop at Westfield Southgate this holiday season and go on a generosity shopping spree to support our project  (https://www.gulfcoastgives.org/projects/538). To receive a $25 Give Card, shoppers must provide a valid e-mail address and receipts to mall employees located in the management office, concierge desk, or Saks Fifth Avenue.  Please see retail stores or visit GulfCoastGives.org for details.
