To be eligible for admission and an assistantship, a student must have either a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 on the last two years of college work, or a minimum GRE score of 1000 (see 609/771-7670, www.gre.org)

After successful completion of the audition process and upon receiving an offer from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, you must submit an official application and application fee directly to the Admissions Office at the Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Since you will be completing an application with The Florida State University Graduate School AND the FSU/Asolo Conservatory in Sarasota, all materials which are outlined below should be sent by May 1, 2010, directly to:

1) Completed Departmental Application.
2) Official transcripts of ALL schools attended.  Be sure your final transcript is a baccalaureate (showing your graduating degree) transcript.
3) Professional Resume and headshot (2 each).  Electronic and hard copies required.
4) Statement of purpose (500 to 1000 word essay describing background, artistic experiences, creative influences personal objectives, and future career goals.)
5) Three letters of recommendation
6) Photocopy of GRE scores (if graduating GPA is lower than 3.0)
