Securing Our Future

The Campaign for Excellence will ensure a vibrant and sustainable future for Florida’s premier theatre—Asolo Rep—and for the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. A joint effort of Asolo Rep and Florida State University, this critical Endowment and Capital Campaign will provide a foundation for the Theatre and Conservatory to continue their path of excellence in all economic conditions. The Campaign will help us reach our full potential as one of the region’s most innovative producers and presenters of world-class theatre, as an unparalleled educational institution, and as a vital partner in bringing live theatre to students locally and throughout Florida.

Campaign donors support:

  • Asolo Rep’s growth as one of the top regional theatres producing world-class work independently and in collaboration with leading producers, visiting artists and theatres throughout the country
  • FSU/Asolo Conservatory’s trajectory as one of the most competitive and unique MFA programs, where students selected from amongst the best in the nation are trained by stellar faculty in a professional theatre environment
  • Asolo Rep’s ownership of income-generating Costume and Scenic Studios, as well as Guest Artist Housing, making the Theatre one of the most comprehensive  performing arts organizations in the country
  • The Theatre’s re-invigorated commitment to giving young people locally and throughout the state access to high quality professional performances and related theatre arts education
  • Physical and technical upgrades to the FSU Center for the Performing Arts that enhance the audience experience
