Title: Box Office Customer Service, Ticket Sales

 

Asolo Repertory Theatre, Florida’s premiere professional theatre located in Sarasota, FL seeks box office personal to assist customers with ticketing questions and issues. Responsibilities include:

• Answering incoming/outgoing phone calls timely and accurately.
• Ticket customers for the show(s) requested. 
• Provide price per ticket/explain seating chart
• Accurately handle sales with credit card, checks, or money
• Attend at least one performance of every Asolo Rep and all FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training productions

Qualifications:
Candidates should have previous customer service experience. Requires great attention to detail, excellent social, verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of interaction as well as independent work. Must be flexible in working hours, nights and occasional weekends. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Title: Development Associate, Individual Giving

Asolo Repertory Theatre, Florida’s premiere professional theatre located in Sarasota, FL seeks a development professional with demonstrated success in individual giving and major gifts programs to steward major donor relations, and to direct campaigns and benefits for the theatre’s donor groups. Responsibilities include:

• Steward relationships with members of Asolo Rep’s different donor groups in partnership with Development Director and BoardDirect campaigns to renew and attract members to Asolo Rep donor groups
• Provide concierge services to ensure fulfillment of major donor benefits in coordination with other members of the development team
• Identify potential new donors and maintain accurate prospect lists
• Design and implement cultivation strategies to move current donors up giving levels
• Assist in securing donors for additional Asolo Rep funding campaigns and priority projects
• Coordinate with Data Specialist to ensure accurate contact management and financial recordkeeping, timely gift acknowledgment and renewal correspondence, and to track return rates from campaigns and appeals
• Ensure proper donor recognition on print and online promotional materials in coordination with marketing department
• Track funds raised against annual budget income goals
• Act as staff liaison to consultant for Asolo Rep Adventurers travel programs
• Participate as a member of a dynamic development team, and attend and assist with development events and projects as needed
• Attend at least one performance of every Asolo Rep and all FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training productions


Qualifications:
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and at least 4 years experience in not-for-profit fundraising emphasizing major gifts, individual giving and membership.  Experience in arts fundraising, and educational degrees in fundraising or arts management, a plus. Requires great attention to detail and deadlines; excellent social, verbal and written communication skills; and facility with Microsoft Word and Excel, fundraising databases, and online research. The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of interaction as well as independent work. Must be flexible in working long hours, nights and occasional weekends. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.  Salary commensurate with experience.
