Help us reach more students by Adopting a School!

Asolo Rep is dedicated to ensuring young people have access to high quality, live theatre. Our programs support the school curriculum, while inspiring and challenging students through the arts. One important way we reach school communities is our New Stages Program, which sends teams of actors to perform in schools throughout Sarasota/Manatee and other parts of Florida.

When you Adopt-A-School, you ensure that our New Stages traveling production--Hamlet Redux in Fall 2011--serves as many students as possible in a specific school(s). Your investment helps us create meaningful theatre experiences that relate to and enhance what students are learning in the classroom. With your support, we can deepen understanding of the production with pre-show primers and post-show discussions.

Our Education team will work with you to identify a high school in Sarasota or Manatee County or other parts of the state. You can choose a school that is near to your heart, or hear from our team where we think we can do the most good with your investment. Our goal is to reach as many high schools in Sarasota/Manatee as possible, and to meet the growing demand for the tour in counties near and far.

FRIENDS OF EDUCATION

Every dollar counts! Asolo Rep will pool your contributions until we reach $5,000 to adopt a school. Choose your giving level and receive the following recognition and benefits:

$100 - $999

• An invitation to attend your adopted school’s performance, your name listed on the play program* and announced from the stage
• Your name in Asolo Rep’s Season Program Book and specific New Stages materials
• An Asolo Rep Around Town (link to URL: http://asolorep.org/support-asolo-rep/asolo-rep-around-town) card good for great discounts and services at local businesses

*printing deadlines permitting

$1,000 - $4,999

• All of the $100 - $999 Friends of Education benefits
• Two complimentary invitations to the Opening Night reception and performance of the annual New Stages production

ADOPT-A-SCHOOL UNDERWRITERS $5,000+

For $5,000, adopt a school in Sarasota or Manatee County by underwriting live performance(s) of the annual New Stages production.

For $7,500 - $10,000, underwrite live performance(s), plus enhanced support* in your chosen Sarasota/Manatee school OR bring the New Stages production to a school outside the Sarasota/Manatee Region.

Both levels receive the following recognition and benefits:

• All Friends of Education benefits
• Six complimentary theatre tickets to be used throughout the season (based on availability) and concierge theatre ticket service from the Development office
• Two invitations to Asolo Rep’s Annual Party at Ron and Rita Greenbaum’s Lido Key home

*Examples of Enhanced Support include additional performances offered at a school, bringing students to see a production in the Mertz Theatre, and in-school workshops; Asolo Rep will discuss what enhancements can be made based on the chosen school and the contribution level.
